2018 Willow Creek Vineyard Pinot Gris
Yet again, 2018 produced an intensely aromatic pinot gris. Attractive notes of fresh pear, citrus and melon mingle pleasingly with subtle aromas of white blossom and warm spice. On the palate, fresh Anjou and candied pear flavours complement patisserie and ground almond. The luscious texture and generous length is balanced by a crisp grip to the finish.
This pinot gris can be cellared until 2021, but is ready for immediate enjoyment.

2018 Pinot Gris, James Halliday, 94 pts
Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented in used French oak with 5% whole bunches, pressed to stainless steel for blending and bottling. The complex vinification has given the wine a presence and power seldom offered by Australian pinot gris. Pear and apple fruit have given a texture and flavour to the long palate.
