100% pinot noir, which was destemmed and left on skins for 8 hours to extract colour and a balanced light tannin grip, before pressing. Fermented to dryness in 100% old French oak.
“Light salmony-pink colour, with an attractive savoury, spicy style of aroma, not simple shrill grapy fruit but more interesting. Pinot, I suspect. The palate is light and dry, savoury and flavoursome with a lot of appeal. There’s a touch of fleshy richness which makes it very charming. The finish is very more-ish. (Some skin contact; fermented in old oak)” – 29th Oct 2018
“A 60/40% blend of pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon, made with attention to detail, and a strategic plan that has delivered the goods. It is juicy, vibrant and spicy on entrance to the mouth, gaining power and traction from the rose petal/red berry fruits and an intriguing citrus edge to the finish. Rosés like this are increasingly common as winemakers set out from the word go to fashion wines of very high quality on the world stage.” -1st Jan, 2018
